ANTHONY WOOD TREATING - HOPE

Built in 1987, the Anthony Wood Treating (AWT) plant is one of the most modern facilities of its kind in the world. The central focus of the plant is the Woodtec treating cylinder. This huge, 84-foot, double-doored cylinder pressure treats wood with Micronized Copper Azole (MCA) which increases the wood’s longevity and builds resistance to leaching and insect decay. The facility can annually treat over 100 million feet of lumber or timbers of any size and length. With direct access to Interstate 30, this mill can ship goods quickly and efficiently throughout the country.
