Mike was raised in south Arkansas, graduating from Hope High School in 1970.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Henderson State University in 1974, and immediately began work in the Arkansas forest products industry. He managed several sawmills throughout Arkansas and Colorado before beginning his career with ATI in 1982 as manager of the Beirne hardwood sawmill.  Shortly thereafter, he was named VP Hardwood Operations. Mike’s current responsibilities include overseeing the manufacturing and sale of hardwood products and residuals at ATI’s Beirne and Magnolia sawmills and Anthony Oak Flooring in Magnolia.
